My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looks like: Pug mix
Male, 6 years old (estimated), 18 pounds

Poor Buggs has had a rough time lately, but he has not let his recent past dampen his spirits. He's the happiest little guy and definitely on the path to a better life! He gets along well with other pups, but we don't know yet how he does around kitties or children.

Unfortunately, Buggs has a long road to recovery ahead. He is currently at our vet clinic awaiting surgery to repair a fractured pelvis. We are still working on his medical plan, but we know he will need to be on strict crate rest for many more weeks, if not months. Once he is fairly stable, we'd love to see him land in a caring home to recover with his people by his side.

This sweet little Pug was brought to San Jose Animal Care Center after being hit by a car. He was found to have a fractured pelvis and an injured left eye, which was removed at the shelter. He came to us when the shelter reached out to see if we could help.
