My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looks like: Labrador Retriever mix
Male, 10 years old (estimated), 55 pounds

In many ways, Finn is a quintessential Lab mix. This sweet goof wants to be where the people are, whether that means going on an adventure or lazing about on the couch. Despite his senior dog status, he's got plenty of energy to burn. But, in other ways, Finn is uniquely himself. He always wants to stop and smell the roses on walks (literally), and if you have treats and love (and more treats), he'll never leave your side.

Finn was recently treated at our Monterey vet clinic for a mass and some hair loss. He will require additional vet trips to ensure he's on the mend properly. This lovable guy is working on reducing his leash reactivity, and we're excited to share the tools of his continued success. Finn does have experience coexisting with cats and has done well with other dogs in our program, but we have not yet seen him interact with kids.

This adorable guy joined POMDR from Santa Cruz County Animal Services after he was found as a stray.
