My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You wanna know why they named me Bandit? Because I'm a sneaky little heart-stealer! I'm a silly lil guy who just wants all the love in the world. I absolutely adore attention from humans (although I do sometimes like to play hard-to-get... silly humans are so easy to fool). I've got it all going for me: the beauty, the brains, and the mischief! I'd love to find a forever home with someone who appreciates my antics. Could that be you?

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

When you adopt an animal, you’re not just saving the life of the animal you adopted. You’re also opening up space for the next animal in need. Our goal at the Morris Animal Refuge is to approach the adoption process holistically to make the best matches for our adopters and for our animals.

We are no longer requiring appointments or pre-approvals to adopt! Visit our shelter (1242 Lombard St) or PetSmart Adoption Center (2360 Oregon Ave.) during the following hours to adopt your new best friend. We will process your information at the time of adoption and in most cases your animal can go home with you on the same day.

Wednesday: 11-7

2360 Oregon Ave. Adoption Hours*

More about this shelter

The Morris Animal Refuge is a 501(c)(3) shelter dedicated to helping the homeless, abandoned and unwanted pets of the Philadelphia region. Founded in 1874 by Elizabeth Morris, we were the first organization dedicated to sheltering and rehoming pets, and continue that legacy today by providing adoptions, a low-cost spay/neuter program, fostering, humane education and more.
