Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Greetings, humans. My name is Mr. Feeny (*writes name on chalkboard*) - Professor Feeny if you're feeling especially respectful. Some things to know about me up front: I'm a bad boy from the mean streets of Philadelphia and don't need humans, but I do love attention and affection. I try to paint myself as a street thug, but really I'm just a big softie inside and need love just as much as the rest of the kitties out there. It may take me some time to get fully comfortable with you, but once I do, you'll see my sweet, thoughtful, intellectual side... and probably fall in love on the spot!
To sit in on Mr. Feeny's class, check out his album here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1uuvY2sxaSVpmuRSNOL9K_-9cYP6B1mtP?usp=drive_link
If you're interested in adopting this animal, please come meet them at our shelter! Our adoption hours are Tuesdays and Saturdays from 12pm-5pm and Wednesdays and Fridays from 12pm-7pm. No appointment is necessary!
We also have adoptable cats at the South Philly PetSmart (2360 W Oregon Ave.) on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 12-3pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8:30pm.
If you have any questions, email us at adoptions@morrisanimalrefuge.org.

When you adopt an animal, you’re not just saving the life of the animal you adopted. You’re also opening up space for the next animal in need. Our goal at the Morris Animal Refuge is to approach the adoption process holistically to make the best matches for our adopters and for our animals.
We are no longer requiring appointments or pre-approvals to adopt! Visit our shelter (1242 Lombard St) or PetSmart Adoption Center (2360 Oregon Ave.) during the following hours to adopt your new best friend. We will process your information at the time of adoption and in most cases your animal can go home with you on the same day.

Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday: 11-4
Wednesday: 11-7
2360 Oregon Ave. Adoption Hours*

- Microchipped
- Cared for by our loving staff until they find their forever homes
We strongly recommend any animals adopted from us to see a veterinarian for a post-adoption check-up and to establish care.
The Morris Animal Refuge reserves the right to refuse any adoption.

The Morris Animal Refuge is a 501(c)(3) shelter dedicated to helping the homeless, abandoned and unwanted pets of the Philadelphia region. Founded in 1874 by Elizabeth Morris, we were the first organization dedicated to sheltering and rehoming pets, and continue that legacy today by providing adoptions, a low-cost spay/neuter program, fostering, humane education and more.
