*The BFG's (Barnacle Fan Girls) have covered his adoption fee!*
Meet Barnacle, a very special, sweet, gentle fellow. Barnacle's rough past did not include the care and attention that every good boy deserves, so he is beyond excited for the cuddles, good food, warm beds, soft sweaters, and pampering that await him in this next chapter of his life. When Barnacle's not busy sleeping or relaxing, he loves to show off his superpower of being able to both break AND repair hearts using only his face! Just look into his beautiful eyes and you'll feel what we mean.
Here's some notes from his foster:
Barnacle was an amazing dog when he stayed at my place, I only had him for a short while but he started exploring and eating all his food up in no time. He's great with other dogs and he was getting more and more agile by the day, attempting to jump on and off the bed and going up/down stairs.
He seemed interested in toys. He's great at giving baths to. He's honestly just such a chill guy.
Would love to be someone's center of attention or have a companion in the form of another dog or a person.

More about this rescue
Muttville is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization dedicated to improving the lives of senior dogs. On a local level, Muttville rescues senior dogs and finds them foster homes or gives them hospice. On a global level, Muttville provides information about caring for older dogs and support for people who do.
Through associations with shelters and other animal organizations, Muttville finds senior dogs that have been given up and are not likely to find adopted homes. Through outreach and networking, Muttville finds suitable foster homes for these dogs. Ultimately, Muttville will have its own facility to house dogs that are not yet placed, or that are unlikely to be placed.
