Additional info:
Brody is looking for his furever home. We found little Brody running alongside the 10 highway in the hot desert between Blythe and Indio. We made several attempts to catch him while trying to keep him from running into the busy highway. Finally, we were able to get him to stop running, and he rolled over on his back squirming with fear. He was exhausted, thirsty, and famished. Inside our van, he found the food and water that he desperately needed. After he recovered, he relaxed in our laps, cuddling and giving kisses.
Unfortunately, no one seems to be missing or looking for little Brody, so he needs to find his forever family. Brody is special in so many ways. Most importantly, he is so loving. He is the happiest when he is cuddled up in a lap getting head rubs and giving kisses. He loves to relax in his soft, fluffy bed, while chewing a bone. He can also be a bundle of energy and loves to play. We’ve taught him to fetch a ball and bring it back. He is a smart, quick learner. He listens and loves treats, which helps with training. At first he didn’t like walking on a leash, but he is now leash trained and loves going on long walks with our other small dog. After only a couple of days, Brody has learned some basic commands, like doing a down, and has almost mastered a roll over trick. He is also crate trained. Brody will bring love and joy to any family that is able to give him a forever home. He would do best in an active home and likes other dogs and kids. He is crate trained, housebroken with a schedule, and such a happy young boy!
