Many of the dogs we rescue have had a hard life and not known love, but that isn't the case for Master Splinter (and his friend April O'Neil). These two had a loving human that treated them well - they had soft beds, toys, and even outfits. Sadly, their person passed away and that means they lost their whole world and their home. Will you be the one to give this fellow a second awesome home? They are not bonded and do not need to go together.
A little more about Splinter ...he is alllllll about his person. He sits at his foster Mom's feet while she works and then climbs into bed to sleep at her feet at night! He knows a good thing when he has it and stays still and quiet all night. :) Splinter is good with most animals but will resource guard the person if allowed so we don't recommend him for young kids or large, hyper dogs. He does play well with dogs his size. He is great on a leash. He has lots of energy and is healthy and happy. He does tend to be a door darter so you will need to be aware of that - he is just ready to go exploring - smile.
Do you have space in your heart (and bed!) for this sweet boy? He is such a cool dog!To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport (dogs only), please visit our website.

❤ Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds. As long as they need rescue, that's what is most important to us.
