Ambrose is a stunning, sweet, social, handsome, neutered male. He is almost 8 years old. The owner had to undergo brain surgery. The owner also had to move to a VERY small studio-type apartment and the cat has been pacing and is totally unhappy...he is acting like a caged lion. The owner took him to the vet and he is now on medication for the pacing and high blood pressure. The owner with all her health issues and small living arrangements, thinks it may be in Ambrose best interest to be rehome. We agree, if we can find the right home!
Adoption fee will apply. We are looking for a homeowner with a history of long term, vet care. When their pet/s got ill, or needed a dental, they took them to their vet.
The medications that her vet has him on are NOT expensive. We will take him in April to our vet for a follow up. But, if it is in Ambrose best interest to keep him on meds, then the new owner needs to know that.
If you can provide them a great, forever, home, please contact Lexi Lambert at Fluffyfurmiliars@gmail.com or call 859.380.9045 and we will be happy to send you an application.

More about this rescue
We are a non-profit (501 (c)(3), group of foster family volunteers who strive to provide assistance for highly adoptable, unwanted, lost and neglected animals by providing humane education, veterinary care, animal rescue and by actively encouraging pet population control through spay and neuter.
Once we take in a pet that has been surrendered, they go to a foster home to wait for their forever family. They live with our families, our pets, and our children.
All of our pets are spayed or neutered before adoption or have such certificate to get it done for free. We also start immunizations on puppies and kittens at 8 weeks. We deworm, deflea, and treat for ear mites. We also Fel Leuk/FIV blood test our kitties and Heartworm test our dogs.
All of our cats and kittens must be adopted as strictly indoor. All of our dogs and puppies must be adopted as a *housedog only and we do require a secure fenced in yard. No chains or outdoor kennels allowed.
We do rescue work with pets because we value life. As humans we domesticated cats and dogs and our society needs to take ownership to treat them with respect. We also see a need to teach people the proper handling of pets and the value of spay/neuter. Pet ownership is a privilege and a life long commitment.
