My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clarence is a sweet, loving soul who is working on gaining his confidence back following several years living as an outdoor cat after being previously owned in the past.

He is good with cats and dogs, and seems keen on trying to make friends with the other animals in his foster home. He's the shy, submissive type who will approach another animal with hope of friendship, but will quickly take a hint if his advances are unwanted. Clarence enjoys spending time cuddled up next to his person on the couch and getting petted while gently purring, as well as watching the birds from a windowsill perch.

Clarence is NOT the loud, mischievous type; he's a quiet, tentative sweetheart who is simply very appreciative of having love and comfort back in his life again.

If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff

Please allow several days for us to process your application. We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the cats that interest you. All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat! Cats are rarely caged (only if its medically necessary) so you can visit with them and see how they act in a home.

Our adoption fees:

Kittens (under 6 months): $150 (or 2 for $225)

Adults (6 months to 7 years): $75 (or 2 for $100)

Seniors (8 years and up): $40 (or 2 for $60)

All cats are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies (if age appropriate) and distemper, and microchipped.

Go meet their pets

We are completely foster home based and do not cage our cats unless medically necessary. Because we are foster home based, we require an approved application on file and will then make arrangements for you to meet that special cat or kitten!

More about this rescue

We are a cat advocacy group dedicated to ending feline overpopulation in our area. Our purpose is to help owned and unowned cats in our area by facilitating high quality, high volume, low cost spay/neuter services; helping caregivers to find resources to keep and humanely care for their cats; and providing care to cats in need, especially those who may not find help elsewhere.
