My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Florence is in her soft girl, cottage-core era: tiny, fluffy, and cute. She loves to sit in a sunny window, sticking out her ever-so-slightly bum back leggie, and watch the world go by. This girl appreciates a quieter, slower pace of life and will tell you all about it with her little chirps. Florence also loves petting and sitting next to you (barely touching). Her tummy is not a trap!

Florence is undecided as to if she will tolerate other cat friends- perhaps a respectful, calmer friend would be alright. She's definitely not a fan of these male whippersnappers, wrong vibes for her. Dog friends are intimidating so far.

If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff

Please allow several days for us to process your application. We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the cats that interest you. All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat! Cats are rarely caged (only if its medically necessary) so you can visit with them and see how they act in a home.

Our adoption fees:

Kittens (under 6 months): $150 (or 2 for $225)

Adults (6 months to 7 years): $75 (or 2 for $100)

Seniors (8 years and up): $40 (or 2 for $60)

All cats are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies (if age appropriate) and distemper, and microchipped.

Go meet their pets

We are completely foster home based and do not cage our cats unless medically necessary. Because we are foster home based, we require an approved application on file and will then make arrangements for you to meet that special cat or kitten!

More about this rescue

We are a cat advocacy group dedicated to ending feline overpopulation in our area. Our purpose is to help owned and unowned cats in our area by facilitating high quality, high volume, low cost spay/neuter services; helping caregivers to find resources to keep and humanely care for their cats; and providing care to cats in need, especially those who may not find help elsewhere.
