My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Beluga! Beluga is about 70 lbs of love and affection. He is a big guy who wants to sit in your lap! Beluga may be on the bigger side, but he does not have an aggressive bone in his big body. He loves everyone he meets inside my apartment and is polite but not out there when people stop us on the street and want to pet him, and many do because he is very handsome. He is the same with dogs outside - he is not interested in them and if they are interested in him, he will say hello and exchange sniffs but then just keep going.

Beluga barks very seldom and then appropriately, such as when the downstairs buzzer rings. He sheds very minimally. He loves to play, especially tug-of-war. He loves to chew so needs appropriate things to chew on (we have amassed quite a few good toys for him). He loves his food and would probably eat the bag it comes in but he does not get up on tables or counters to take food items, which he easily could. He has very good leash manners but can sometimes be a little fearful of the big city sounds. Beluga is learning quickly that he is protected.

He needs a loving home with room for him, preferably with a yard so he can run off his bursts of energy. After that he will collapse and nap. He will have a long happy life with the right people and he deserves that.
