Midnight is a friendly, affectionate lion head mix who loves being around people. Whether getting kisses, gentle cuddles, or head rubs, sheās happiest right by your side. Sheās not shy and will come right up to say hello and often hops into laps to request attention.
She is estimated to be 3 years old, is spayed, litter box trained, and her fosters describe her as friendly, loving, smart, and treat motivated.
She enjoys sprinting through her tunnels, playing with stacking cups and free roaming. However as she has been known to nibble baseboards, sheāll need supervision during free roam time and plenty of rabbit save chew toys to keep her busy. She does understand and responds to ānoā and would be a candidate to learn other commands and tricks if the price (treat) is right.
Despite her sweet and social nature, Midnight has struck out on a forever home since being found as a stray in June 2023. The first was after 7 months, when her foster parents broke up and neither chose to keep her. The second was just two weeks in, when her new family discovered they were allergic to hay. Weāre hoping the third timeās the charm.. Midnight deserves a hoppy ever after.
Midnight has lived with cats and dogs before, and is good around children who are calm, gentle and quiet. She tends to be shy around other rabbits, so she may do best as a single bunny however, weāre open to seeing if she clicks with a mellow, sweet-natured husbun.
As a lion head mix, she needs to be brushed a couple of time a week to prevent painful tangles and to avoid hairball which can be dangerous for rabbits.

SOS FL Animal Rescue is a non-profit rescue for rabbits and guinea pigs. We are animal lovers who are experienced rabbit and guinea pig owners. We both fostered small animals with other rescues for years before meeting each other and deciding to start our own rescue so that more rabbits and guinea pigs could be saved. We take in all rabbits and guinea pigs, including unwanted animals, seniors, and medical cases.
