My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Midnight is a spayed, 1.5 y/o, 3lb, lionhead mix. She is litter-box trained and her foster describes her as a soft and fluffy, lovable, ball of curiosity.

She likes to be included and will climb on top you if you lay on the floor with her or may jump onto your lap unexpectedly if you are sitting on the ouch. When given the space to free roam she makes her foster family laugh with her acrobatic binkies and zoomies. Overall she is a chill and laid back bunny.

She was first seen in March 2023, roaming around a barn. She was smart and managed to survive a week eating just grass and avoid local predators. Having seen local chickens and even small cats go missing from the area her foster mom decided she needed to save her ASAP. After chasing her for a good 30min Midnight was finally enticed with food into a spot that she could be contained. She was checked out by a vet, spayed and vaccinated for RHVD.

More about this rescue

SOS FL Animal Rescue is a non-profit rescue for rabbits and guinea pigs. We are animal lovers who are experienced rabbit and guinea pig owners. We both fostered small animals with other rescues for years before meeting each other and deciding to start our own rescue so that more rabbits and guinea pigs could be saved. We take in all rabbits and guinea pigs, including unwanted animals, seniors, and medical cases.
