Stunning! That is the word that I would use to describe me! Well I mean take a look at me! Handsome tan and white coat, stand up perky ears, and ice blue eyes! I guess you could call me a "triple" threat! I know you will find this hard to believe, but I came to the shelter as a stray and I was never claimed by my family! Soooo I am now in the market for a brand new home! I am a two-year-old terrier mix. I have all of my vaccinations, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. One little problem did show up on my health check up. I am heartworm positive, but I am not worried. I know the shelter will stand with me all the way through treatment and then help me find a new home. Say maybe you could foster me through treatment and then adopt me!!

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.

The Montgomery Humane Society prevents cruelty to animals by operating an animal shelter for homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals; by operating an adoption center for healthy animals; by investigating cruelty and abuse cases; and by educating the public in animal owner responsibility.
