My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, Eugene here! I am one of the lucky ones! Now you maybe asking yourself why I am so lucky! Well I was rescued from a super busy six lane bypass in town! My kind rescuer took me to the shelter and she kept me though my stray hold and now she is my Adoption Ambassador! I am staying with her until I find a home! The shelter made sure I had all of my vaccinations, that I had a microchip, and that I was neutered. One problem did show up on my health check up. I am heartworm positive. I am not worried, because the shelter has my "back" and I know I will be fine. If you would like to meet me, all you have to do is go to our website at www.montgomeryhumane.com and fill out the adoption application and send it in online. Someone will contact you to set up an appointment so my Adoption Ambassador will bring me in to meet you!

Additional adoption info

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
