Hi Y'all! My name is Bernard and I am a handsome brindle bulldog mix. I have had a wonderful life with my owners. But recently my "dad" had to have major surgery and his recovery is going to take a long time. My "mom" didn't have the time to take care of me and watch over "dad." So I am looking for another family to love. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. My family said that I was kid and dog friendly, I was crate trained, I am a great leash walker, and I took care of all of my "business" when I went outside. I am an older boy that is about seven years old. If you are looking for a well-mannered, settled in kind of guy well here I am!!

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
