My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Carlile, a delightful mountain cur mix with a heart full of playfulness and sweetness! This charming canine companion is on the lookout for a loving home where he can share his zest for life with an equally adventurous family. Carlile is a very good leash walker and would love to go on hikes/runs with his new family.

We believe Carlile would do well in a home with another dog given proper introductions.

We don't know how he would do in a home with cats as we don't know if he has lived with them in the past.

Carlile should do well in a home with children who would be able to play and run around with him.

He is looking for a family that will play tug of war with him and then plop down on the couch for a movie after. If this sounds like something you can do, apply now!

Carlile is a 4-year-old Mountain Cur mix, recently weighing 73 pounds. Carlile is heartworm positive, therefore he is a Foster-to-Adopt candidate so he can continue heartworm treatment in a home.
