Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This cute guy is Draco!
Draco loves being around people – he is very cuddly and loves to give hugs and receive hugs. He is a playful, young guy looking for an active family who can provide lots of mental stimuli and physical activity to keep him healthy and happy.
Since Draco did come in as a stray, we are unsure if he is housetrained and suggest a consistent potty routine in his new home to help him be the most successful.
We are unsure if Draco has ever lived with kids before. We do suggest he live with kiddos 10 years of age and older. He may do well with kids younger than that, it would all depend on how the meet goes.
We are unsure if Draco has ever lived with cats. We suggest slow introductions to any resident cat.
We do feel he should do well in a home with another dog as long as the dog can handle his energy level and playstyle.
***
As of March 12th 2024, Draco has been with the shelter for over 9 weeks waiting for his forever family. He can be a bit unsure at first but has quickly become a staff favorite and has recently started going on days out with our volunteers. He has had a great time!
Here is what our volunteers have to say about him:
“We got to walk on a trail and in the city, rest on the deck, nap inside and eat ice cubes today. Draco is sweet, food-motivated, and people-motivated. He is unsure in new situations but conquers that fear with encouragement.”
***
This handsome young guy is a 1 year old, Dogo Argentino mix who is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative.
***If you are interested in adopting please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal
