Take the Pet Home
Fondly referred to as a gentle giant by his foster dad, Dino is ready for his forever home! Dino was living in a neighborhood in the city for quite some time and being fed by kind humans. Dino quickly showed his desire to live indoors, following people around the neighborhood as they took their dogs on walks. He was showing up at peoples front doors, begging to be let inside! Just one day before a huge snow storm, Dino was rescued and brought to Forever Fortunate Felines for a chance at a forever home!
Dino hasn’t earned the nickname “gentle giant” for no reason! He is a big guy with a heart of gold! Dino may be a big guy, but his meow wouldn't tell you that! He has a tiny little meow like a kitten! Dino loves being pet and being around his people. To show you he wants love, he’ll rub his head all over you for attention! He loves full body pets with both hands and leans right into it. He loves treats and spending time lounging around. He can be a bit of a lazy guy, and would make a great companion for someone looking for a low-key buddy to spend their days with.
Dino has recently really started to show his playful side! As a street cat, Dino had no exposure to toys and didn't know what to do with them. Fortunately, he has befriended playful cats in his foster home, who have shown him the ways! He now loves toys and can be found emptying out his toy basket to find the perfect toy for a play session with his buddies. Dino does great with other cats and is happy to befriend cats of all personality types, chill or playful!
Dino was born with underdeveloped eyelids that caused his eyelashes to irritate his eyes. Dino had surgery to remove the eyelashes, but still has scarring to his eyes as a result. He has full vision however, he just has a unique look due to his abnormal eyelids. Dino also has half of a tail, likely due to injury or frostbite while on the street. It doesn't cause him any pain, it is just a quirk that makes him extra special and adds to his charm! His foster dad loves to say he looks like a bobcat with his large stature and short tail!
Being the chill guy that he is, Dino would likely prefer a home on the quiet side, where he can relax peacefully! He loves other animals and would do well in a home with another cat or even a calm, respectful dog. He loves his cat buddies and would love a cat buddy in his forever home to spend the days with, but he would also be happy as a solo cat. He would also do well in a home with respectful children. This special guy would be the perfect addition to your home and would love to be your new best friend.
