My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you ready to invite boundless love and endless cuddles into your life? Meet Sassy, the irresistible 3-year-old terrier mix who's waiting to capture your heart!

At just 12 lbs, Sassy may be petite, but her sweet and gentle nature will leave you utterly enchanted. Unlike her name, Sassy is anything but sassy preferring the tranquility of a calm and serene home environment. She has a gentle demeanour and enjoys spending time with people she trusts. Picture yourself curled up on the couch, Sassy nestled beside you, her soft fur warming your soul as you share loving moments together.

While she may not be the most energetic pup on the block, Sassy relishes the warmth of the sun on her back during leisurely outdoor strolls (she is less enthusiastic when it is cold out) .

Despite her initial timidity, Sassy's heart is full of love, and she thrives with the company of another confident dog by her side. Sassy adores other dogs and a home with one or who will have her interact with other dogs is preferred. Sassy is also tolerant of cats and other pets (like lizards!)

Sassy is still working on her housetraining and when she is startled, she will pee so a compassionate patient family is a must. However, her gentle disposition and unwavering love make every moment worthwhile.

So, if you're seeking a sweet furry family member to shower with affection and watch blossom into the perfect companion, Sassy is ready to fill your days with warmth, and unconditional love. Open your heart and home to Sassy today.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to rescue and rehome unwanted, abandoned, abused and unloved pets that find themselves alone and frightened in shelters. These animals give unconditional love and should receive the same love back. Unfortunately there is a need and while ever there is a need we will be there to help. Our long term goal is to build towards the opening of our own shelter and be able to help with behavioral issues, special needs, and to offer a haven to less adoptable pets. We are always very thankful for any pet related donations to assist the animals in our care
