My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Maki!

Maki came to us from the San Diego Humane Society on April 8th. She was the perfect traveling companion during her Freedom Ride! She hopped in and out of the car on her own without hesitation and was very calm during the ride. Maki enjoyed looking out the window, no doubt wondering what lay ahead. This sweet girl doesn't need to worry... she is now a Frosted Face and will be loved for the rest of her life! Maki is 11 years old and weighs 44 lbs.

Maki is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we can learn what she is like in a home. Her Fling Mom shares:

"Maki is a great dog! She does well with other dogs and is super sweet. She enjoys going on long fast walks, but she spends a lot of her time napping. She loves blankets and being comfy on dog beds and couches. She is very good while getting a bath and is making friends in the neighborhood. She loves car rides. Maki played with toys for the first time yesterday, and she has learned to ring the potty bells when she needs to go out! Maki loves hugs and cuddling."
