My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello everyone, my name is Miss Gracie and I'm a gorgeous 2-year-old sweetie looking for my forever family!  Being part Husky . . . I'm an energtic girl that loves my walks and playtime! I'll be the first to admit I've got a ton of puppy energy still left in me. My tail wags a million miles a minute because I always have a playful pep in my step. I love snuggling up in my cozy crate and will never have an accident inside as long as you don't leave me in there too long.

I'm looking for an owner who has the time to play with me and help me be my very best. I'm with a great trainer that's showing me how to walk nicely on leash, sit and other basic obedience. I'm very loving, happy pup who can't wait to have a family and people to walk with and play with me. Do you have a fenced yard? I would love to play ball!

I'm already working on my manners and can't wait to shower my new family with friendliness and cuddles!

I may have a case of the zoomies from time to time, but I'm just a happy  pup looking to play and go on adventures. I'm also learning not to get protective over my food bowl.

Gracie is going through a basic training program now and is ready for adoption. In this program he will have learned proper heeling on a leash, basic obedience, place command, off leash recall, people and dog socialization, kennel training and more! After adoption process is finalized, the new owners will work with the trainer 1 on 1 to learn what Gracie has learned in the program and how to keep up with training after going home. This will all be included in your adoption fee!

More about this rescue

Our mission is to save the lives of dogs facing euthanasia in high-kill shelters nationwide by pledging funds that enable rescues to take in, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. On occasion, if we do not have a local rescue in place in the city the dogs are in, we bring them to Illinois to avoid their euthanasia. They are placed in boarding for vetting, once done, they are promoted for fostering or adoption.
