My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Frosted Flakes, a lively male Kelpie mix eager to find his forever family. At around 4 months old and weighing approximately 20-25lbs, Frosted Flakes is bursting with energy and a love for playtime. While he gets along well with other dogs, his compatibility with kids and cats is yet to be determined. If you're ready to add some zest to your life, call the shelter at (775) 623-6403 to schedule a meeting with Frosted Flakes today !!

More about this shelter

We have a small, rural, government-run Animal Control facility dedicated solely to dogs. This entails accepting both owner surrenders and stray animals found on the streets. Our team consists of four dedicated individuals: two full-time Animal Control Officers, one part-time Kennel Tech, and one part-time Animal Care Assistant. We have limited office staff, and our presence in the office may be intermittent. For the most reliable communication, please reach out by phone. While we do not have a voicemail system, calls will be forwarded to our dispatch center where you can leave a message. Additionally, all transactions are by appointment only.
