My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abbie is a friendly and sweet kitty who is looking for a new and loving home. She has a loving personality, likes affection and loves to make biscuits!

Abbie has classic tabby fur coat with lovely markings and green eyes. She is a great age for adoption - all the fun of a kitten but past the baby training stages! We're confident that she'll make a great addition to her future family! Abbie is scheduled to be spayed very soon and that cost is already included in the adoption fee.

Abbie is listed as a courtesy through RAIN - she's being offered and cared for by a family outside of RAIN. For more information please text/call 530 209-9413 or email mcevoychristine@yahoo.com.

Additional adoption info

We are in a rural location and cover a large area with small communities far apart. We tailor our adoption process to fit the needs of each adoption, whether it be a home visit or other specific situation. Adoptions are allowed to proceed only after careful checking of the situation for each animal.

Go meet their pets

RAIN Thrift store is open daily at the address above. Adopters can meet the pets there that are currently available for adoption. We're in the process of setting up with other websites to add our photos to expand coverage for our adoptable pets.

More about this rescue

Rescued Animals In Need is a no kill organization whose main focus is rescuing lost, abandoned, abused, neglected or unwanted animals and helping them find their forever homes. We work hard to reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats by providing education and financial assistance (when available) for spay/neuter programs to help prevent unwanted and uncontrolled pregnancies for animals in our communities. Including a program for the voiceless and often ignored feral cats. We have full non-profit 501(c)3 status with the State of California.
