My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, my name is Roscoe. I may be 10 years old, but I'd bet you'd never guess from my youthful personality! I'm strong and healthy, and enjoy brisk walks, chasing after toys, and trotting around the backyard on nice days. I also love hanging out with my foster family, usually curled up at their feet in my dog bed, but will find a spot on the couch if my foster family assures me its ok (I always ask permission).

My personality is very sunny and warm - I love attention and being pet, but won't be bothersome when you're busy. My foster family has a 1 year old baby, and I'm always gentle with him, even when he tugs on my tail.

I am about 40 pounds,100% potty trained, go in a crate nicely, don't make lots of noise, and do well with all people and pets - basically the perfect dog!

Could you be my furever family? I look forward to meeting you!

My adoption fee is $100 locally in Houston, TX or I can be transported for $350 (includes travel fee and health certificate). I am up to date on all my vaccines, neutered and microchipped. Fill out an app at: https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=SQYPSGVQ

Additional adoption info

With an approved application, applicants are considered for the pet they have applied for. Our goal is to make the best match for both the adopting family and the pet. Applications are NOT considered on a first come first served basis. Following an initial meet and great, potential adopters must pass a home inspection and sleepovers are strongly encouraged to ensure a perfect fit. Upon approval, the adoptive family is required to pay a fee and sign an adoption agreement. Fees are $200 for a puppy under a year and $150 for adults and include spay/neuter, current vaccines, microchip and many wonderful years of companionship.
