My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Roxy!

Roxy arrived at the shelter on 4/8/2024, carrying with her the weight of recent changes and uncertainties. Understandably, she's feeling a bit scared and overwhelmed by all the new experiences she's been through. It's clear that Roxy has been through some tough times, and her gentle demeanor reflects the resilience of her spirit.

Despite her initial apprehension, Roxy began to show signs of settling in and finding comfort within the shelter environment the very next day. Each small step towards relaxation is a testament to her strength and adaptability. She's a true gentle soul, deserving of patience, understanding, and love.

As we continue to spend time with Miss Roxy and learn more about her unique personality and needs, we'll be sure to provide updates. Your support and interest in her journey mean the world to us, and we're committed to keeping you informed every step of the way.

During her initial health assessment on 4/8/24, Roxy received her rabies vaccination and underwent 4DX testing, unfortunately testing positive for Lyme disease. However, rest assured that Roxy is currently undergoing a 30-day course of Doxycycline to combat the infection. Once she completes her treatment, she'll be ready to receive her DHLPP and Bordetella vaccinations, ensuring she's on the path to optimal health and happiness.  She weighs approximately 56 pounds.
