My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I am Mochi. I am certainly ready for my forever home, even though I am very content with my foster mom, but not with her other pets. In Scottish Fold litters there can be folded ear and straight (normal) ear kittens. As you can see from my photos I am a very handsome straight eared Scottish Fold. They are much easier to clean then folded ears. That is a good thing!

I have the softest and most plush coat you have ever felt. I love being brushed and petted. Any loving attention is fine with me! I have a very soft and tiny voice. I am not a vocal cat. I adore human companionship and show it by following my people around, greeting them at the door, staying close while they are working on their computer and sitting beside them when we are watching TV.

I had a loving home where I was the only pet, but unfortunate circumstances arose and my owner could not keep me anymore ( due to illness). I don't get along with most other animals, but I don't mind one of my foster moms cats that is very passive. Her other cats and dogs I don't like at all! I prefer a quiet home where a human is around most of the time. Are you the person to give me a loving forever home? I am very sweet and precious and I will give you all the love I have!

My foster mom says I am neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. They say that's good!

I currently live with my foster family in San Rafael.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you're my perfect adopter please explain why in the comments section of my Adoption Application, and contact Sally at merz135@aol.com If you are unable to reach Sally please email info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Purebreds Plus cat Rescue (purebredsplus.org), serving Northern California, the San Francisco Bay Area, Oregon, and Northern Nevada, is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of purebred cats, kittens and other exceptional felines. We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit rescue group. Most of our beautiful felines come from Northern California Animal Shelters. One of our goals is to keep purebred cats from ever ending up in a shelter. We are happy to help you if you need to rehome your purebred cat. Often, we can offer advice if your cat is having behavioral problems, and you may end up keeping the cat. We do NOT ship cats. We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.
