My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is a very handsome boy that makes everyone's day better just by being in it. He is outgoing, loves walks and playing with his toys! He gets along with other animals, is vaccinated and neutered. If you want a bright smile to wake up to everyday and the endless love of a pure bred good boy, then Charlie has his paw up and volunteers!

More about this shelter

The Shelby County Animal Shelter is a County office designed to serve the residents of Shelby County. They answer calls for stray dogs, complaints of dogs running at large, animal kills by dogs and coyotes, pick up stray dogs, answer humane complaints and reports of loose dogs.

The SCAS is open to people looking for a pet, looking for a missing pet, and those who just want to look at the animals. They accept dogs and cats from owners as well as strays, however a fee may be involved. They offer dogs, puppies, cats and kittens for adoption.
