My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sake and Toro -- Oh, what a beauties they are!  So lovely in fact, that the shelter misidentified both boys as girls.

After being "turned in" as "strays" they were put on a medical hold, so no one even knew they were there!

For may weeks they waited ... and waited ... and as a month passed, and then even longer, still only visible and available to rescues, these sweet boys ran out of time and were red-listed.

We were contacted on the last day at the last hour just before they were scheduled to be killed ... and we couldn't let that happen!

They'd never even been given a chance!

It took a village to get them to us, where we soon learned that the Girls were in fact Boys, and just SWEET as can be!  Truly - so very LOVELY!

It's only been a short time with us, after a long time in a shelter cage, so they are still opening up and trusting each day, but they are gentle and loving and playful and just the best of buds! Reports are that they are AMAZING co-workers as well, keeping thier foster mom company all day and on task - toy tasks that is.

We did recently discovered that Sake unfortunately had a BAD fracture high up on his tail (so many poss causes that we shudder to consider), so we are watching and waiting to see how that heals, but he doesn't let it slow him down one bit!  He is ready to go ... home.

It's time these sweet boys found thier forever family and started the next chapter of what we are sure will be wonderful lives... are you ready to help turn the page on their past?
