My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NEW HAMPSHIRE: Who could be more enGAGE-ing but GAGE!

Gage is about 5 years old and weighs 50 lbs. Gage loves his toys so much, he wants to bring them on walks and it is heart-meltingly adorable. Sweet, playful, handsome - PLUS being that frickin adorable?!? **swoooon** Rescued from the emergency placement list on 12/22/23, Gage was lucky enough to land a wonderful foster home where he has let his affectionate and fun-loving personality shine! This gentle boy is social & outgoing; he loves making new friends people and other dogs. From his pictures, he clearly knows how to pose for the camera, showing off his cuteness and his toy! Gage is affectionate and steadfast, never letting his 50 lb self deter his dream of being a lap dog! Gage is potty trained, crate trained, and good on a leash. He loves running in the yard and playing with his toys, of course. Gage is great on car rides and knows "sit", "stay", & "paw". Gage has so many good qualities, has been so patient, and keeps his spirits high regardless of what he has been through. Gage is a true good boy!

Up-to-date on shots, neutered and microchipped, Gage is all ready for his forever home. With such an en-GAGE-ing personality, who wouldn't want his adorable antics and gentle affection in their life? Please contact AmsterDog at 917-689-8414 or apply to adopt or foster Gage at www.amsterdog.org.

And thanks for caring for a dog in need!

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

AmsterDog Rescue does not have its own facility. Instead, we rely on fosters to care for our beloved animals. Our available animals may change depending on your location and we do transport animals for adoptions within a reasonable distance. Since you will possibly be speaking with and meeting a foster directly, an application must be filled out prior to meet and greets.

For adoption inquiries, please contact AmsterDog Rescue at 917-689-8414 or info@amsterdog.org. To get the process started, please fill out our online application at www.amsterdog.org/application.
