My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet mama Clarabelle and her 7 puppies! This brave mama arrived at the Rancho Cucamonga California Animal Shelter (11780 Arrow Route, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730) in labor. Clarabelle (ID A766745) is 3 years old and 47 pounds. She was struggling to deliver and underwent a C-section whereby delivering 7 puppies. The shelter has marked Clarabelle and her babies as URGENT status for finding a foster or forever home.

Clarabelle is lovingly caring for her puppies (3-weeks old as of 3/7/24) and is a good yet protective mama. Shelter says Clarabelle may bark/growl at unfamiliar faces, but once familiar, she's good. Shelter has noted her affiliation as social, easily leashed, and solicits attention from handlers. In the yard with other dogs, the shelter says she kept her tail slightly tucked and avoided eye contact.

If you're ready to open your heart and home to Clarabelle and her adorable babies, please reach out to us. Let's help them find a home and save them from the shelter environment.
