Rescue FAQs

As a dedicated non-profit 501(c)(3) foster-based pitbull rescue, our mission is to save bully breeds/pit bulls from shelters and find them loving homes. Pitbulls are incredibly social dogs that thrive on being included in family activities and maintaining their social interactions. These loving and loyal dogs deserve to be understood and appreciated. At Passion for Pitties Rescue, we are committed to changing the perception of pit bulls by showcasing their true nature. We believe that with the right environment, these dogs can flourish into the most loving, loyal, and social companions. Our work goes beyond rescue; we aim to educate and advocate for pit bulls, highlighting their strengths and addressing misconceptions. Through our efforts, we hope to create a community that embraces these amazing dogs and provides them with the forever homes they deserve. Join us in our mission to save, understand, and celebrate pit bulls. Together, we can make a difference and give these wonderful dogs the second chance they need to lead happy, fulfilling lives.
Passion for Pitties is located in San Diego, California. We work to rescue bully breeds throughout the Southern California region, including neighboring areas in Arizona. Additionally, we extend our rescue efforts to dogs in Mexico, with the help of volunteers who assist in bringing them to the U.S.
