Rescued from a puppy mill in Pennsylvania, Trisha embodies resilience and warmth. Despite her age, she possesses the exuberance of a much younger pup, reveling in playtime with her furry foster siblings and delighting in chasing after a Frisbee in the yard. Trisha is house and crate trained, though she could benefit from additional leash training.
While Trisha gets along well with other dogs, she's dog selective with a preference for male companions. In her home, she would prefer either to be the sole recipient of your love and attention or to have a compatible male companion by her side.

Approve Application
We will contact you via email to let you know the status of your application. Check your Spam folder if you don't hear back.

Interview
A phone or virtual interview will be scheduled to discuss your application and answer questions. Interviews are also done at our Events.
4.
Meet the Pet
Adoption Event is May 17-19th at the Durham Fairgrounds. Our pets are currently in CT, GA and PA foster homes.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated to age and micro-chipped. Adoption Fee is paid to the Rescue (typically $350-600.)
Additional adoption info
We adopt dogs to residents of Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire & Maine. We can't adopt to Massachusetts residents because of their laws concerning rescue animals. All adoptions occur in Connecticut.
