My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Na-Nu Na-Nu!" Mork and Mindy are proof of extraterrestrials because they are EXTRA sweet! They're also proof that the best things come in small packages of two. This gangly brother-sister duo are about 16 weeks old and just like their namesakes, are inseparable. They're always learning new things, staring wide-eyed at the world around them, and dreaming of going home.

These love bugs are nearly identical, except for Mork's white spot on his belly and Mindy's faint stripes she's developing. They're both super friendly, affectionate and playful, yet calm, cool and collected. The older they get, the more their individual personalites begin to shine. Mork loves to hang out in your lap, while Mindy prefers your shoulder. Mork is a little more spunky, while Mindy takes second to wake up from her nap. They'd love to go home together, but could be adopted separately as long as there's already another young kitty in the home. They're both good with other cats and people of all ages, including kids. They haven't met dogs in person, but would be fine with nice ones. Mork and Mindy are both fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Fill out an application at the sanctuary or www.secondchanceas.org/adopt (Inquiries on online listings don't constitute an application)

2.

Interview

We will call your veterinarian and personal references. We'll also call you if we have questions or need more information.

3.

Approve Application

We will approve or deny the application. You may be approved to adopt, but not necessarily the same animal you originally applied for.

4.

Meet the Pet

This may be done before applying. You'll be asked to sign an adoption contract and to make a certain donation amount, rather than a set fee.

Additional adoption info

We are passionate about pairing animals in need with loving families who would best suit their individual needs. NOTE: You do not have to apply for a specific animal on your application. You can submit it as a "pre-application" for a certain size, age or breed of animal, and if approved, we can contact you if a possible match arrives at the shelter.
