Shrimp came to TCR last year from a 70 cat hoarding situation. He is such a little sweetie! Shrimp loves to hang out in the same room as everyone and see what's going on even though he generally doesn't try to be the center of attention. Although Shrimp is still young, he has a more mellow attitude, and he would probably do best in a household with a more laid-back kitty companion (with proper introductions!). It may take him a bit to settle in and come out of his shell but he's so friendly once he gets comfortable. He's easy to take care of and hasn't been a troublemaker, so he could be good for someone looking for a cat who's lower maintenance. We think he would probably do just fine in a home with older, cat-savvy kiddos. He loves to be petted and especially enjoys having his face rubbed. He also has the sweetest small meows and loves to bask in the sun whenever he can.
Shrimp is about a year old. He has been neutered, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. Are you interested in this handsome kitty? Please apply today!

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
