Are you looking for two crazy kitties who are FULL of personality and sure to keep you entertained?
Look no further than Merlin... and his best friend, Lenny! Merlin and Lenny aren't littermates, but they became besties when they were both being treated for FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) together at the same time! These boys love to do everything together and each of them will cry out for the other when they aren't sure where their "second half has gone.
Merlin is a very friendly, affectionate cat. One look at him and he will start to PURR, PURR, PURR! He loves to be petted and be loved on. He can be a bit nervous of new things at first but he tends to adjust quickly once he understands that things are OK! Merlin and Lenny would appreciate adopters who can go slow with them at first, but who are also up for lots of fun and activity! These boys love to explore and wrestle, and they can make anything into a toy. We think they'd be fine in a variety of homes, including one with older, cat-savvy kiddos.
Merlin is about 1.5 years old. He has been neutered, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. He was successfully treated for FIP and ringworm while in our care. Although a reinfection with FIP would be considered rare, we would still recommend that any interested adopters educate themselves on this disease and what signs/symptoms to look out for.

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.
2.
Approve Application
We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.
3.
Interview
We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.
4.
Meet the Pet
Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!
6.
Pay Fee
7.
Take the Pet Home
Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
