My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Marilyn.  This adorable little girl was taken to a local vet clinic to be euthanized because her elderly owner was ill and could no longer care for her.  While Marilyn has many health problems, the vet clinic asked if we could take her in and we did.  Poor girl had a UTI, lots of mammary tumors (removed and benign), bad teeth and arthritis in the base of her spine, right above her tail.  We have everything cleared up but she must be on medication for her spine the rest of her life.  It is not expensive but it gives her a happier life.  This girl must be kept on a strict potty schedule, to avoid accidents in the home.  We believe her arthritis causes some issues.  She is good with dogs, cats, crate trained, good in the car.  Nice dog!

If you feel that you can commit to the life that Marilyn is looking for, please complete an application.

More about this rescue

We are a small rescue group formed to help the animals held by Animal Control facilities in Dickson County TN. The main focus of our rescue has changed to the rescue of senior animals in animal control facilities (ones that do have a euthanasia policy) in Middle TN.
We are also dedicated to locating affordable spay/neuter options for individuals that lack the funds to have their companion animals spayed/neutered. This is the only way to stop the overwhelming number of unwanted animals entering into animal control facilities.
