My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET DANTE!

Dante is the most perfect gentleman to grace these shelter walls. Not only is he housebroken but he has wonderful manners. He`s the kind of guy who will wait patiently for you when you need to tie your shoe or take a break during walks. He enjoys belly scratches and is content just hanging out with his favorite person. He enjoys the company of other dogs but also doesn`t care if dogs are around. He absolutely loves playing with toys and will play on his own or if people are involved. He`s very quiet in the kennel and always greets people with a smile and a tail wag. He`s a hidden gem amoung our population right about now so please consider coming to visit him. He`ll make an amazing canine companion! If he sounds like your perfect pal, come to Dedham to meet with him!

Dante is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped, and seen by our vet team.

More about this shelter

Situated 10 miles southwest of Boston on the beautiful grounds of the former summer sanctuary for the city’s working horses, ARL’s newly remodeled shelter in Dedham, Massachusetts is just a glimpse into ARL’s bold future. The new modern shelter design allows us to provide even more animals with high-quality direct animal care that meets best-practice standards in animal welfare.
