Aria is a big little girl who loves to play and relax with her foster family. Aria is working on crate training and is beginning to go in the crate with a treat for incentive. She barks for a few minutes and then settles down. She is just a puppy so she has occasional accidents in her crate. She is beginning to follow the potty routine at her foster home and will follow her foster siblings out to go potty. Aria enjoys playing with both big dogs and little dogs and loves them both. She has met dog savvy cats. She is interested in them, but leaves them alone. Aria is still a puppy so she is working on manners and chewing on appropriate toys and bones. Aria is typically quiet when she is out and about within her foster home. When she is tired she will curl up on a pet bed or snuggle with her humans. Aria has discovered a love for treats and is working on coming when called and sitting. She is also learning to walk on a leash. Aria enjoys going for walks and has done great when passing other dogs or critters. Aria also loves her 8 year old human foster sister. Aria would do great in a home that has plenty of space for her to run and play as she will be a big girl when she is older. She would love the company of another dog, however she would do fine in a single dog home. Aria will need her humans to continue to work with her on basic training and to make her part of the family.

Go meet their pets

Meet our pets through our website, Facebook and fundraisers throughout Southern WI. We are an all foster based rescue and do not have a physical shelter.

More about this rescue

Hoping Fur A Home is a volunteer run dog rescue organization serving the Southern, WI area. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs left homeless for whatever reason – dogs in public shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation, dogs given up by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect.
