Bio: Beso is a sweet beautiful large puppy. He is a loving puppy. He lives up to his name, giving lots of kisses. He is six months old, and large for his age. He is very athletic. He's able to run circles around the other adult dogs at the foster home. He loves toys and sticks and anything he can chew as he is teething. He plays well with the five other dogs at the foster home, but doesn't always know boundaries. He enjoys going for walks. He recently walked down to the lake with his foster mom, and he walked into the shallow water without hesitation, like a true lab. Because he has that wonderful lab in him, he will probably be a good swimmer. Beso has webbed feet which are good for swimming. He was not off-leash at the lake so we don't know for sure. Beso is 99% potty trained. The only time he had an accident was when he couldn't get out in time. Beso is also crate trained, and goes in easily with a treat. He does not cry to get out, and sleeps well. During the day, he naps on the sofa or on a dog bed on the floor. Beso has no food aggression, and is social with both men and women. Beso thinks everyone who visits is his friend. Beso would do best with an active family or young couple. He would also do well with people who enjoy the outdoors. Foster mom thinks he would be great at hunting, camping, and going on trails.

Go meet their pets

Meet our pets through our website, Facebook and fundraisers throughout Southern WI. We are an all foster based rescue and do not have a physical shelter.

More about this rescue

Hoping Fur A Home is a volunteer run dog rescue organization serving the Southern, WI area. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs left homeless for whatever reason – dogs in public shelters where they are at high risk of euthanasia due to pet overpopulation, dogs given up by their owners because of difficult circumstances, and those in danger of abuse or neglect.
