My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pretty Woman!

Pretty Woman was surrendered to Riverside County Department of Animal Services as part of a investigation into a hoarding situation. She was malnourished, had overgrown nails, and had teeth missing and dental disease. The shelter reached out to rescues, and we scooped Pretty Woman up on April 12th to become a Frosted Face. She is 14 years old and weighs 11 lbs.

This sweet senior lady surely deserves extra care and pampering, and thankfully, she received just that on a two-week Frosted Fling with a loving foster family. Her Fling Mom shared what she learned about Pretty Woman:

"Pretty Woman started our fling tense, circling, and could not relax. Now she will follow us, looks at us when we talk to her, and is finding different beds to use. These are very big steps that make me smile!

She has the longest legs and the cutest ears. She loves to eat, knows when it's time to eat, and where the food is kept. She is not picky at all and takes medication with ease.

P.W. is so good on the leash. She enjoys a meandering walk, and today was the first time she stopped to sniff!

Pretty Woman doesn't have anxiety when left alone. She will find different beds to sleep in.

She didn't ride well in the car, so I got a crate that fit her, and she did much better.

Pretty Woman sleeps through the night. She will put herself to bed at times. I have a penned off area for her with potty pads and two beds. We take her out as soon as she wakes up.

Pretty Woman loves kisses on her cheek, and the time that she is letting me pet her and hold her is getting longer. She could really use another fling or foster home where she can continue to progress and figure things out."

Pretty Woman is back on-site but would be so much more comfortable in a home. Do you have a spot in your heart for her?

Stop by to meet her during Open House on Saturday and Sunday 10 am - 1 pm!
