This girl is looking for a home to welcome her to New England on Saturday April 27th. This sweet deserving girl we saved from the euthanasia list when she was going to be euthanized for space. She was the last of our pups to get out of the shelter and into foster. She is approximately 3 yrs old and 46 lbs, she is spayed, current on vaccines and microchipped. Dog friendly and easy to handle. Below are notes from her TX foster who stepped up for her. Now we need someone in New England to step up for her to find her forever home.
Licorice is such a sweet girl, who is excited to get into her forever home. She is so receptive to physical love and words of affirmation.
She appears to have been through a lot, and is still very nervous and timid around everyone and everything. You can tell that she wants to come out of her shell, but she is not comfortable yet. But I am sure that she will get there and really come into her own once she gets into a home where she can set up routes. Licorice has been friendly to our family cats, and has barked at dogs on the other side of our neighbors fence, but we haven’t let her socialize with our family dogs yet. Licorice is a sweet, loving dog who eats well, is crate trained, potty trained, loves walks, and is pretty good on a leash too!
