My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luna is a highly trainable sweetheart who is eager to please her humans! She listens well, loves fetch and would probably be great at flyball or agility. She was picked up as a stray. Luna's adventurous spirit makes her eager to explore new experiences, though she truly shines when following a routine. Potty training is a breeze, as she much prefers doing her business outdoors. Luna lets you know when she has to go potty by whining and pacing. Luna barely barks, howls occasionally- not loud – just adorable!

When it comes to affection, Luna is all about snuggles and spreading sweetness to everyone she meets. While she may take a bit of time to warm up to new faces, slow introductions help her. Treats, nylabones and stuffing-free toys are the key to Luna's heart! She is still in her chewing stage and needs to be crated when left alone…after all, she is still a puppy! To keep her happy and healthy, Luna requires around two hours of exercise daily, which can be split into several play sessions.

Luna doesn’t like to share toys with other dogs so she will do best in a home with no other dogs or a home with supervised playtime. She loves running around with her foster siblings, who are about her size, but no toys are out and she does fine. Her foster Mom is working on her training (sit, paw and down so far and she is learning stay watch her video!) and she walks well on leash. Luna is fostered in PA and will be attending our Adoption Event. Fill out an application so you can be preapproved to adopt!
