Dolce is a beautiful 6 year old breeder release American Eskimo! Due to her fears, a secure fenced yard and another dog in the home is required. She is still terrified of the leash and becomes frozen when you try.
She has come a long way since she got into rescue. Initially a bit timid in meeting new people, but she's beginning to warm up more quickly and becoming comfortable expressing her darling personality to everyone she meets.
She loves to run in the fenced in yard and wag her tail when she sees her favorite dog treats appear. Dolce has gotten along well with other dogs in her foster home and has been a rockstar with potty training. She's hesitant to walk on a leash, but we are diligently working on it. Dolce is an absolute sweetheart and can't wait to meet you!
For her safety (since she isn't a fan of walking on a leash yet) we are asking for her adopter to have a securely fenced yard. Having another social dog in the home will help her become more social with people and trust them.

Adoption fee is $300 plus tax.

More about this rescue
Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.
Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
