Meet Evander!! A gorgeous, chocolate colored boy aged at just under 1 year and weighs in at just under 50 pounds. He has settled in nicely with his foster home that consists of 2 other dogs, respectful kiddos, a kitty and lots of visitors coming and going. He is a very happy, excited guy who loves to meet new canine friends and people alike. He is known to love piles of dogs and/or people and will be found on top, underneath or tangled within. He’s a draper, a cuddler and a bed hog. He is crate trained. Leash skills and recall skills are a work in progress. He is respectful of canine friends who don’t wish to engage in play, and has a nice, matching playstyle with those canine friends to do enjoy play. Evander is a LOVER of all toys! TOYS, TOYS, TOYS! He will need a toybox of his own which will probably need to be refreshed every few months. Evander also enjoys being around mature and respectful kiddos over 8 years of age. He would most enjoy an active family or couple that are looking to include a canine friend on their outings. Another dog in the home would be great for Evander. He’s very good at following social queues from his foster siblings. He has learned respect for the queen, no nonsense kitty and would do fine with another feline friend with similar personality. We are looking for a home where Evander would have plenty of time outdoors and lots of room to run, play and train.
