My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet, shy Sister was rescued from a difficult situation with well over 20 dogs plus additional pups. She has been fostered by a family in Dulce and loves the children (school age) as well as the adults, but she is still somewhat shy with new people. She has been spayed and is up-to-date with shots. We hope to take her into foster in the future, but have no room at the moment.

Sister looks like she has some Husky in her but is mostly a sweet mix-up who needs a loving home to call her own.

More about this rescue

We are an all volunteer rescue and spay-neuter organization that serves over 600 square miles of mostly rural area in far northern New Mexico, along the Colorado border. We rescue over 100 animals a year and focus on adopting or transferring these animals to other organizations that can adopt them out. We also provide low-cost spay-neuter vouchers for companion animals in our communities.
