My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mick (also known as Home Boy Mick) was left alone after his owner died and the four other dogs and 14 puppies at the house were picked up by animal control. Mick likes people, but was afraid of being collared or trapped. He was finally captured in a group effort and is now in foster. He is a sweet boy who wants to play, but we are working on basics (like getting a collar on him). In a few weeks we hope to have him neutered and ready for his own home. We've been keeping him in a large outside pen and he has been fine interacting with three other dogs through the fence, but really wants to come out and play. Collar first!

Mick was great around school-age children and warms up quickly to run up and sniff hands then run away. With some stability, care, and training, Mick will be a great family dog! Please consider him if you are looking for a slightly older pup with a big heart.
