My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pucci is an adorable little prince. An Imperial ShihTzu, he is 7 lb of love. Pucci rides great in the car and walks well on a leash so he is a pleasure to take with you. And being house-trained, this lilac lad is a joy to have at home.  He likes to be held and to cuddle. He is easy to bathe and easier to love. Pucci is an adorable little charmer full of personality! Are you the lucky one to be able to adopt this precious Prince Charming?

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
