Shadowheart is a beautiful one-year old female Tuxedo kitty who was surrendered by her family on April 1, 2024 along with several of her siblings/relatives who had shared her home. Shadowheart was very much loved but her family made the difficult decision that they just had too many cats, so they parted with Shadowheart and her siblings/friends in hopes that they would each find another great home.

Shadowheart has a gray short smooth coat with white markings on her chest in a tuxedo pattern, white toes on several of her paws, a long tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, a gray velvet nose, and long white whiskers.

This young lady has an affectionate, outgoing personality and loves attention. She was a bit subdued when she entered our shelter, but within a few days she was showing us the super sweet, playful side of her personality. Shadowheart comes running to the front of her cage the instant that she hears the 'click' of her cage door being opened.

Shadowheart was given vaccinations on April 2, 2024 and was given wormer and flea treatment on April 6th. She weighs 6.8 lbs.

Shadowheart will be spayed in the near future and will soon be ready to find a home of her very own either through adoption or rescue.

UPDATE: Shadowheart was taken to the clinic on April 16, 2024 for her spay procedure, but did not have surgery that day. When she was examined by their veterinarian, the determination was made that (sigh) Shadowheart was pregnant.

UPDATE: Shadowheart was combo tested on April 24, 2024 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm.
