Flareon is a lovely 2-year old female Australian Shepherd mix who was brought to the HSOV on April 26, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who found her on State Route 329 in the Belpre Ohio area (possibly on State Route 339). Flareon was wearing a collar but there was neither an id tag nor a dog tag on her collar ... And she was not microchipped.
This beautiful girl has a brown-and-white longhaired coat, a magnificent long fluffy tail, and an adorable symmetrically-marked face with amber-colored eyes, tan eyebrows, a liver-colored nose on her slender muzzle, and large floppy ears which are fringed in wavy curls.
Flareon has a lovable, affectionate disposition and a calm, easygoing personality. She was in love with HSOV Adoption Clerk/Kennel Tech Lauryn Hamilton who spent time with her for outdoor glamour photos on April 27, 2024. Flareon was a delight to photograph and looked to Lauryn for guidance and self-confidence.
Flareon weighs 45 lbs and walks gently on a leash.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Flareon will be held for three days so that her family will have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership.
Flareon went home with a foster family on May 3, 2024 who plans to adopt her after she is spayed.
