My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tom Cat, a distinguished feline who's searching for a loving home to spend his golden years. Having gracefully transitioned from life at a local shelter, Tom Cat embodies the serene and comforting presence every home dreams of. He's a cat who knows the value of relaxation, whether it's curling up beside you for some quiet company or taking on the role of your personal 'general manager' from the comfort of the home office. Tom Cat supervises with a gentle authority, offering silent support and companionship as you go about your day.

In his quest for the simplest pleasures, Tom Cat finds bliss in the coziness of a nice comfy box. There, he contentedly purrs the day away, embodying the epitome of feline happiness. A connoisseur of good food and affectionate head scratches, Tom Cat expresses his gratitude through charming chirps, especially when he's feeling particularly appreciative.

Tom Cat is a sociable gentleman among his feline peers, welcoming other cats into his space with grace, given a proper introduction period. He's the epitome of a laid-back and chill companion, ideal for anyone seeking a serene and loving pet. Tom Cat's calm demeanor and affectionate nature make him the perfect addition to any household looking for a little more love and a lot of purrs. Invite Tom Cat into your life, and let him fill your home with the warmth and gentle companionship only a cat of his caliber can offer. Tom Cat is FIV/FeLV negative, up to date with vaccinations, flea-treated, dewormed, microchipped, and neutered. His birthday is estimated to be around 10/02/2015.

More about this rescue

The mission of the Karma Cat + Zen Dog Rescue Society is to provide a safe and peaceful haven for homeless, abandoned or abused animals. We will help decrease the number of cats and dogs being destroyed in kill shelters through the work of our foster, spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return, and education programs.

The vision of the Karma Cat + Zen Dog Rescue Society is a world where every companion animal is respected, fed, warm, happy, and not in danger of being killed because it is temporarily homeless.
